As of 9 a.m. Friday, Kansas has had 772,222 COVID-19 cases, resulting in 8,524 deaths, according  to the Kansas Department of Health and Environment. There were 1,245 new cases and 23 new deaths reported since Friday, April 8.

All area counties were ranked as low-transmission counties.
