Jonathan and Cheryl (Bednasek) Dahlke will be celebrating their 40th wedding anniversary on May 29 with a card shower.

The couple were joined in marriage on May 29, 1982, at St. Peter Lutheran Church in Holyrood.

Jonathan retired from the 20th Judicial District Court Services Office in Great Bend as a probation officer in 2019 where he worked for 34 years and now substitute teaches for USD 112- Central Plains. Cheryl has worked in the banking field for over 30 years in offices at the Bank of Holyrood, Lorraine State Bank and now is at First Kansas Bank in Claflin. They have three children, Amanda (Levi) Ellis, Jordan (Caitlin) Dahlke and Tanner Dahlke; and five grandchildren, Tynlee, Lincoln, Gracie, Harrison and Henry.
