LARNED — Members of the Quilting Bees guild met on Dec. 4 at the First Presbyterian Church of Larned for their Christmas Party. Following snacks, members told of a special Christmas memory and most were from their childhood. Small gifts were exchanged among those present.

Diane Schultz displayed machine-embroidered tea towels. The Opportunity Quilt drawing was at the Larned Christmas parade and was won by Linda Lemus of Larned. The next regular meeting will be at 6 p.m. on Jan. 15, 2019, at the church. Mary Weber will present the program.  Interested persons in the community who enjoy sewing, quilting, knitting, or any other form of textiles are invited to visit or join the group. Ann Hicks is president of the guild. For additional information call the church, 620-285-6033.
