Easter egg hunts planned throughout area

Great Bend Kiwanis and Ellinwood Lions clubs have planned Easter egg hunts on Saturday, April 20.

The Kiwanis event will start at 9:30 a.m. sharp at the Kiwanis Walking Track on the north side of Veterans Memorial Park, just off of McKinley Street in Great Bend. The event is open to all area children, pre-school through sixth grade.

The Ellinwood Lions Club’s annual Easter egg hunt will start at 1 p.m. in the Ellinwood City Park. Children from pre-school age through fourth grade are invited to come and have a good time.

First Assembly of God Church, 601 South Patton Road, will have its annual Candy Blast, hosted by the church and MPower Kids. Registration and prizes start at noon. The hunt starts at 1 p.m. and continues until 3 p.m.
