The United Way of Central Kansas (UWCK) has opened its 2026 funding application process and invites nonprofit and government agencies serving Barton and Pawnee Counties to apply for support.
United Way funding helps strengthen programs that align with its mission to build healthy communities, financial security, youth opportunity, and community resiliency – ensuring that everyone in Central Kansas has the opportunity to thrive.
“United Way of Central Kansas is proud to partner with local agencies that are making a difference every day,” said Charell Owings, executive director of UWCK. “By investing in these organizations, we invest in the health and stability of our entire community.”
Applications are open now for funding to be distributed April 2026 through March 2027. The deadline to apply is by 4 p.m., Thursday, Jan. 8.
