Arrest made in connection with business burglaries

Great Bend Police officers arrested 24-year-old Jacob Hoch Tuesday afternoon after a search of a local residence led to a discovery of property connected to multiple business burglaries in Great Bend.

According to a GBPD release, at approximately 3:42 p.m. Tuesday, members of the GBPD conducted a search warrant at 1208 Morphy in relation to an ongoing investigation involving several business burglaries in the city of Great Bend. During the search, officers located property related to three different business burglaries, as well as suspected methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia. 

Hoch was arrested and transported to the Barton County Jail where he was booked and confined. He is being held on three $20,000 bonds for burglary, one $10,000 bond for possession of methamphetamine and parole violation arrest and detain order with no bond.
