Great Bend Fire/EMS

Emergency Medical Service responded to six calls Friday.

They responded to five Emergency Medical Services calls Saturday.

They responded to seven Emergency Medical Services calls Sunday, as well as one small grass fire in the 100 block NE 30 Rd.


Great Bend Police

A non-injury crash was reported at 5:26 p.m. Friday at University of Kansas Health System - Great Bend Campus, 514 Cleveland St.

A subject reported the burglary of a PlayStation cord at 9:51 p.m. Friday at 2313 16th St.

A narcotics violation was reported at 10:35 p.m. Friday at McDonald’s, 3307 10th St. Tyler Epp was arrested and booked on Saturday on multiple charges in lieu if $10,000 bond.

A battery was reported at 12:24 p.m. Saturday. Jason Battlegear was arrested and booked for criminal threat, battery domestic violence, criminal restraint and interference with a law enforcement officer in lieu of a $5,000 bond.

A narcotics violation was reported at 10:36 p.m. Saturday at 22nd St. and Cleveland St. Charles Bowers Jr. was arrested on multiple charges in lieu of $10,000 bond.

A non-injury crash was reported at 10:30 a.m. Sunday at Walmart, 3503 10th St.

Criminal threats were reported at 10:37 p.m. Sunday at 2020 Jefferson St.


Barton County Sheriff

A theft was reported at 8:02 p.m. Saturday at 513 E. 4th St., Ellinwood.

A non-injury crash was reported at 1:19 p.m. Sunday at SE 70 Rd. and SE 100 Ave.

A fire was reported at 2:27 p.m. Sunday at 9 NE 30 Ave.
