Great Bend Police

Theft of tools was reported Friday at C&V Home Improvement, 1107 10th St.

A vehicle driven by Herbert Treff was backing out of a private drive at 9:20 a.m. Friday at 24th and Harrison and struck a vehicle driven by Kald Wagner that was southbound on Harrison. No one was injured.

A non-injury crash was reported at 2 p.m. Friday at 10th and Harrison.

A non-injury crash at 10th and Harrison was reported at 2:14 p.m. A vehicle driven by Charley Sander was westbound on 10th St. in the 3200 block and struck a vehicle driven by Troy Meitner who was also westbound and stopped in traffic.

Theft of a package was reported at 1309 9th St.

Police were dispatched to Burger King at 6:26 p.m. Friday when they were advised there was a disabled vehicle in the drive-thru. Another vehicle was in the drive-thru facing the wrong way. Traffic was blocked and both vehicles were pushed to Walgreens.

A theft was reported at 2202 25th St.

Police received a report of a desk in the roadway at 10th and Odell at 7:54 p.m. Friday but did not find anything.

Theft of a wallet and criminal use of a financial card were reported at 2538 6th St. 

A non-injury crash was reported at 5:18 a.m. Saturday in the 1100 block of Jefferson St.

Tires were cut on a parked vehicle at 1316 Warner Circle,

James Sandstorm was arrested for DUI at 7:14 p.m. Saturday after he hit the car in front of him at the Taco Bell drive-thru. He was released Sunday after posting bond.

Police responded to a domestic call at 7:33 p.m. Saturday at 1102 Warner Road and arrested Randy Chambers for domestic battery. He was released after posting bond.

A hit-and-run non-injury crash was reported at 8:23 p.m. Saturday at Walmart.

A battery by a known person was reported at 1:51 a.m. Sunday at 5809 Aspen Dr.

Theft of wicker patio furniture was reported Sunday at 3106 24th St.

A burglary was reported Sunday after items were taken from a garage at 1434 9th St.

Theft of a bank card was reported at Walmart.

Criminal use of a financial card was reported at Loves Country Store.

A homicide was reported at 11:53 p.m. Sunday at Best Western Angus Inn, 2920 10th St. Follow-up continued at the scene Monday morning.

A non-injury crash was reported at 11:12 a.m. Friday at NE 140 Road and NE 100 Ave., Odin.

A theft was reported at NW 10 Ave. and NW 100 Road, Hoisington.

A burglary in progress was reported at 4:37 p.m. Friday at 602 NE 80 Road, Claflin.

A non-injury crash was reported at 9:30 p.m. Friday at K-156 near mile marker 137.

A theft was reported at 11:16 p.m. Friday at Outer Limits Liquor, 30 NE 30 Road, Great Bend.

An injury crash was reported at 10:01 p.m. Friday at SE 20 Road and South U.S. 281, Great Bend. Kansas Highway Patrol responded.

BCSO assisted Stafford County at a St. John address at 4 a.m. Saturday.

A non-injury crash was reported at 4:24 a.m. Sunday in the 200 block of SE 100 Ave., Ellinwood.

A non-injury crash was reported at 1:23 p.m. Sunday in the 1000 block of NW 40 Ave., Hoisington.
