Great Bend Fire/EMS

Great Bend Emergency Medical Service had seven ambulance runs Friday, seven on Saturday, 10 on Sunday and five on Monday. Firefighters responded to a gas leak report at 2:52 a.m. Friday at Azria Health-Great Bend, 1516 K-96. Kansas Gas Service responded.

At 9:59 a.m. Friday, firefighters responded to a report of a contractor hitting a gas line while digging at 1201 Walnut St. Kansas Gas Service responded. Firefighters then responded at 3:15 p.m. to a residence fire caused by a cooking fire at 5937 B Eisenhower Court. No damage was reported; firefighters vented the smoke.

No fires were reported Saturday, Sunday or Monday.
