Great Bend Emergency Medical Service had 12 ambulance runs Wednesday. Firefighters responded to a citizen’s assist at 12:41 p.m. in the 1100 block of Kansas Ave. to help a person stuck in an elevator. Firefighters also performed a police assist at 2:31 p.m. Wednesday in the 1400 block of Morphy St.
