A Great Bend woman was arrested Friday on charges of distribution of methamphetamine and aggravated child endangerment after Barton County Sheriff’s Office deputies executed a search warrant at 5400 24th St. in Great Bend.

Sheriff Brian Bellendir reports the search began around 3:30 p.m.

“Deputies contacted the occupant of the house and entered without incident,” the sheriff stated in a news release. They reportedly discovered a “substantial quantity” of methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia.

Roberta G. Patterson-Herold, age 67, was transported to the Barton County Jail where she was booked on the charges. She is being held in lieu of a $300,000 bond.

The Sheriff’s Office was assisted by the Great Bend Police Department and The Kansas Bureau of Investigation.
