Linda Seibert Knabe 1952 - 2018

MIDLAND, Texas — Linda Seibert Knabe, 66, of Midland, Texas, passed away Friday, Sept. 14, 2018. She was born June 7, 1952 in Great Bend, Kan.

Linda graduated from Tascosa High School in Amarillo, Texas, on May 27, 1970. She received an Associate of Applied Sciences in Dental Hygiene from Amarillo College in 1973. She has served the community of Midland for 45 years as a Registered Dental Hygienist working with Dr. Lewis Tanner, Dr. Charles Gaines, Dr. Tim Tannich, Dr. Robert Bennett, and Dr. Ashley Burns.

Linda had many interests. She enjoyed cooking, gardening, sharing recipes, doing puzzles and spending time with her Westies and special rescue dog, Bella. She especially loved hosting holiday and family gatherings, collecting things such as Hallmark ornaments, and decorating for Christmas.

She will be remembered as a caring, loving person who always provided for others.

She was preceded in death by her first husband, James Morrison Brown; son, Matthew Paul Brown; mother, Wanda Watson; father, Lowell Seibert; her grandsons, Nicholas James and Nathan James Dove; and a brother-in-law, Refugio Macias.

She is survived by her husband of 18 years, Adolph Knabe of Midland, Texas; son, Preston Brown, and his wife, Adriana, of Washington, D.C.; two daughters, Amanda Dove, and her husband, Keith, of Midland, Texas and Shelly Brown of Port Lavaca, Texas; step-son, Chris Knabe, and his wife, Kim, of Odessa, Texas; two brothers, Stan Seibert, and his wife, Debbie, of Quincy, Ill. and Todd Seibert, and his wife, Michelle, of Amarillo, Texas; two sisters, Tammy Fredman, and her husband, Alan, of Amarillo, Texas and Kelly Macias of Midland, Texas; nine grandchildren, Farah Elizabeth, Kelsey, Kyndall, Kennedy, Joey, Collin, Skylar, Stephen, and Stephanie; and the many nieces and nephews she dearly loved.

A celebration of her life will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 19, 2018, at the Nalley-Pickle & Welch Funeral Home Chapel, Midland, Texas. A reception for family and friends will follow in The Branch at Nalley-Pickle & Welch Funeral Home.
