To the editor:

One question that often crosses my mind when thinking about this pandemic is why have we shut down our country for a virus that is largely taking its toll on our elderly, and at the same time are murdering 1,296,639 babies per year on average since Roe vs. Wade? That is 60,942,033 babies that did not get to experience one day of life on this earth. Where is our concern for humanity there? The hypocrisy reaches to the highest heaven.

Could it be the Democrats are making yet another attempt to take out our President? They never seem to let an opportunity go to waste. I do believe Trump (with God’s help) is the right person to repair the damages. Who in their right mind would think Biden has the skills? His policies would only lead us to socialism.

This pandemic has definitely got us heading in that direction. We are being told who can work, who can’t, how far apart to social distance, what direction to push our grocery carts and when to wear masks. They are letting criminals out of prison and arresting people for going to church. We are told they don’t know when they will be able to open our schools. They say we have to get use to a new normal. I for one prefer liberty.

So how did our country become so divided and turned upside down where good is called evil and evil is called good? It is because we don’t understand the real war we are battling. We are at war with an invisible enemy, Satan and his demons. And the battle is for our souls and the battle is very real. We don’t seem to have a problem believing the virus is real even though we can’t see it. Why can’t we take hold of the most important thing in life that really matters, where will we spend eternity?

Will we spend it with our loving Creator or will we spend it in the pits of hell? Satan is very good at deceiving. He has what seems to be a majority of people believing that a life full of worldly pleasures is the answer. Let people live their lives however they want even though it is against Gods laws. The Bible says in Romans 1:25 “For they exchanged the truth of God for a lie, and worshiped and served the creature rather than the Creator, who is blessed forever.”

But God knew this would happen from the beginning and thankfully He had a plan to save us. He sent His only Son Jesus to come and make the ultimate sacrifice on the cross for our sins. If we ask for forgiveness and receive Jesus as our lord and Savior we will be saved. It is the most important decision we will ever make on this earth. It is not too late to save our country and those walking in darknes but we need to do our part. God said in 2 Chronicles 7:14 “If my people who are called by My name humble themselves and pray, and seek My face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.” Time is short. Wake up Americans.
