To the editor:

The Barton County Historical Society wants to recognize and offer our sincere thanks to the following people and grantors. Thank you to Jerry and Theda Joe Wendel for your contribution to our mission. We wish to thank Midwest Energy for awarding us a grant from its Community Fund and recognize them for their continued support of our organization. We also wish to show our utmost appreciation to Grain Belt Express for the grant they awarded us this year in support of the museum.

These contributed and granted funds are being directed toward our Collections Improvement Project. The Collections Improvement Project is an initiative to improve the storage, organization, and cataloging of the collections at the historical society. The funds contributed will therefore be used to purchase additional shelving units for the storage area to continue this project. We are thankful and grateful to these contributors for supporting this project and the mission of the Barton County Historical Society to preserve local history.

Thank you!
