A call at 8:01 a.m. about possible animal cruelty resulted in a case being taken.

A lost wallet was returned to its owner.

A fraud was reported at 10:06 a.m. at 5115 12th St.

A non-injury crash was reported at 1:48 p.m. at Applebees, 3209 10th St.

A battery was reported at 8:30 p.m. at 1717 Jackson St.

An outside agency assist was provided at 9:21 p.m. in the 1300 block of 13th Road, Lyons.

Barton County Sheriff

Aug. 24

An outside agency assist was provided at 4:16 p.m. in the 900 block of Patton Road, Great Bend. A warrant arrest was then made at 4:42 p.m.

An outside agency assist was provided at 4:46 p.m. in Lyons.

An outside agency assist was provided at 9:05 p.m. at 110 W. 1st St., Ellinwood. A K-9 unit was dispatched there at 9:19 p.m.
