Fundraiser for the Thompson family from Hanston

10 a.m. to noon at Momentum Gymnastics, 1120 Kansas Ave. in Great Bend. There will be gymnastics, games and fun, with some great raffle baskets, along with crafts and baked items for sale. The cost is $10 per child, ages 6 years and up. Children 3-5 years old must be accompanied by an adult. William Thompson, 13, died from injuries sustained last month during a vehicle accident at a rural intersection east of Jetmore. Two Thompson children are still in the hospital. A GoFundMe has also been set up for the family.

Great Bend Humane Society/Adopt-A-Pet fundraiser

Family Crisis Center Fall Festival

There will be a live musical performance by Great Bend native, Jadynce Jean as well as a dance performance by the Barton Dance team.

We will join together in an Empowerment Walk to stand in solidarity with survivors of all kinds of abuse. Honorary wreaths will be created as we invite our community to pin a ribbon in honor of someone they love or their own resilience.
