Kelly’s Garden Sense invites the community to a special event in honor of International Women’s Day on Saturday, March 8, from 1-4 p.m. at the Greenhouse, 134 NE 10 Ave. Great Bend, for an afternoon of inspiration, networking, and local business showcase celebrating women in business.

This event is all about Women Supporting Women sharing knowledge, experiences, and connections of female entrepreneurs and community leaders coming together.

Attendees will have the opportunity to:

• Get a professional headshot taken in the Greenhouse by Blue Thistle Film & Photography ($10 suggested donation to Prairie Godmother’s, an organization helping local women).

• Network and gain inspiration from local business owners and community leaders as they share their experiences and insights. Ask questions, link arms, find new local resources to support women in our community.

• Local Showcase from a variety of female-owned businesses featuring everything from charcuterie to chalk paint, bath bombs, cheesecake, jewelry, and more!

• Give Back - a portion of all Greenhouse sales from the day will be added to the donation to the Prairie Godmother Fund.

The event will be a come and go afternoon and feature displays from numerous local businesses, female owned, and light refreshments. They hope you’ll get your photo taken in the Greenhouse, network with other women and be inspired by the signs of spring and growth that surround you in the Greenhouse.
