HOISINGTON — Clara Barton Medical Center announces a new partnership with Holistic Pain Management (HPM), aimed at providing advanced pain management services to the community. This collaboration will bring much-needed pain relief treatments to patients in Hoisington and the surrounding areas, eliminating the need for long drives to receive care.
HPM works directly with the staff at Clara Barton Medical Center, along with the patient’s primary care provider, to offer a wide range of advanced pain management treatments, including nerve blocks, radiofrequency ablations, and other types of injections. They treat various painful medical conditions such as back and neck pain, spine injuries, knee and shoulder pain, headaches, sports and work-related injuries, inflammation, and arthritis, among many others.
“Our goal is to reduce pain and improve function in patients suffering from chronic pain, particularly those living in rural areas,” said Ryan Shedd, CEO of HPM. “We are on a mission to make it easier and faster for folks to find relief.”
Previously, patients often had to wait months for an appointment, but with the introduction of HPM’s services, they will now be seen much sooner.
HPM adopts a holistic approach to pain management, which considers the whole person and addresses the cause of the condition, not just the symptoms. This approach is similar to integrative medicine, combining conventional treatments with complementary therapies.
“We take a highly personalized approach to identifying the true source of a patient’s pain,” said Shedd. “Our team of medical practitioners is trained to ask questions, listen carefully, and provide as much relief as possible. Every patient’s treatment is customized.”
HPM will see patients at Clara Barton Medical Clinic in Hoisington on the 2nd and 4th Wednesday each month. They will also do procedures at Clara Barton Medical Center on the 1st and 3rd Thursday of each month.
“Clara Barton Medical Center is thrilled to partner with HPM, augmenting the excellent care patients already receive from our providers,” said Clara Barton President/CEO, Jay Tusten. “This partnership ensures that our community has access to comprehensive pain management services, enhancing the overall health and well-being of our patients.”
