Great Bend Chamber Coffee Recap
Flavored Celebrations ribbon cutting
Kat King does the honors for a Great Bend Chamber of Commerce ribbon-cutting ceremony on Thursday at Flavored Celebrations, 2114 Washington St.

This week’s Great Bend Chamber of Commerce Coffee was hosted at Flavored Celebrations. Nicci Henderson with Great Bend Economic Development and Empire Realty were the hosts. Greeters were  Henderson and Mary Hoisington.

Kat King started this business 13 years ago. She bought the current building they’re housed in nearly two years ago. She was joined by her sister, Kim Grossardt, her creative technical coordinator.

She creates custom, creative cakes using fresh ingredients and accommodates many dietary restrictions. The cakes are all made to order.

“So, anytime you have a special occasion, whether it be a birthday, a first birthday, a wedding, or whatever the occasion is, they’re all special occasions. You just reach out to me, and we’ll create something that is what you want,” King said on the cakes that she bakes. She also does creative dining for book clubs, and crafts an entire menu based on the book that they are reading. Lunch and dinner reservations are available for up to 18 people.
