Stueder Contractors announces the Holiday Heat Up initiative, a community and crew-driven project designed to help a local homeowner stay safe and warm during the coldest months of the year. Beginning Dec. 1, members of the community are encouraged to nominate a homeowner who could benefit from a brand-new Lennox heating system and installation — completely free of charge.
As a family-owned business rooted in Great Bend for more than 40 years, Stueder Contractors is committed to giving back to the people and neighborhoods they serve every day. This year’s selected recipient will receive a standard Lennox heating system along with installation, provided at no cost by the expert Stueder Crew.
Nominations can be submitted Monday, Dec. 1 through Friday Dec. 19, at www.Stueders.com/holidayheatup.
“We’re often on job sites where we want to do more for homeowners but can’t for one reason or another,” said Steve Spain, Stueder technician and nominator of last year’s Secret Santa project. “It felt good to give back in a meaningful way to someone who was kind and hard working but needed a little help with basic things around his home we take for granted. This year, I’ve already got my nomination ready and look forward to helping another deserving member of our community.”
This marks the second year the company has led a major seasonal give-back effort, and the Stueder team hopes it will become a long-standing community tradition that also inspires kindness and even more generosity throughout the community.
“Giving back to this community is simply a part of who we are as a company,” said Terry Stueder, owner. “We believe that being a good neighbor and looking out for others is what makes Great Bend such a great place to live and work. We hope you’ll join us in our efforts this year to Heat Up someone’s holiday.”
Alongside Holiday Heat Up, Stueder Contractors will also introduce the Stueder Sleighs — service vehicles decorated by the crew to spread cheer around town throughout the season. Residents who spot a Sleigh are encouraged to snap a photo, share it on social media, and tag Stueder Contractors to highlight the team’s positive impact throughout December.
