Great Bend Chamber Ambassador Sonya Rein takes a turn at managing the swag table at the June 4 After Hours event sponsored by Wheatland Electric at Dry Lake Brewing. The theme was “It’s getting cherry hot in here!” and cherries were featured among the free drinks and appetizers. There were also door prizes, including a chance to win $75 toward a Wheatland electric utility bill. 

On Tuesday, June 10, Wheatland will sponsor Power Play at the Bat Cats baseball game at Al Burns Memorial Field. Gates open at 6:30 p.m. and Wheatland will have free hamburgers and hotdogs for the first 200 people. There will also be giveaways, prizes and $1 beers.
