A Holyrood pedestrian who was crossing K-156 in Ellsworth County died Thursday night after being hit by a vehicle. Kansas Highway Patrol reports the victim was Timothy Lee Fosdick, age 63, who died at the scene. He was walking on K-156 at K-140, 3 miles north of the K-156/K-14 intersection.

The accident occurred at 9:35 p.m. on May 22. The vehicle was a 2024 Volkswagen Tigan driven by Jose Manuel Quintanilla, 42, of Garden City. Quintanilla and his four passengers were wearing safety restraints and were not injured. The vehicle was removed by Randy’s Body Shop.
