ELLINWOOD – As Ellinwood School/Community Library continues its “Americans and the Holocaust” presentations, the Midwest Center for Holocaust Education will present a Lunch and Learn Zoom from noon to 1 p.m. on Dec. 8 and 15 and Jan. 5. Registration is required at tinyurl.com/AATH-LL-register.

Holocaust history raises important questions about what could have been done to stop the rise of Nazism in Germany and its assault on Europe’s Jews. Having made extreme sacrifices to save Europe from Nazism, the Nazi murder of European Jews never became a priority in American politics. This series of presentations examine what was possible, what was done, and why those decisions were made based on American motives, pressures, and fears.
