Lenten retreat inspired by Dietrich Bonhoeffer

The Heartland Center for Spirituality will host “Do What God Did – Become Human,” a Lenten retreat inspired by Dietrich Bonhoeffer.

“Lent is an invitation to return to our true selves,” sponsors said. “Join us at the Heartland Center for a day of spiritual renewal as we explore the profound insights of Dietrich Bonhoeffer. Together, we will reflect on the mystery of the Incarnation and what it means to follow the call of ‘costly grace’ in our daily lives. Through guided reflections, Scripture, and silent prayer, we will challenge ourselves to live with the humility and love that Christ modeled for us.”

This event will take place Saturday, Feb. 21, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Heartland Center for Spirituality. The facilitator will be Father Bob Schremmer.

Registration includes lunch and is $60 or $50 for seniors aged 60 years and older. The deadline to register Feb. 13. Register online at https://heartlandspirituality.org/lenten-retreat/ or email ann.axman@heartlandspirituality.org or call 620-792-1232.
