First United Methodist Church, Great Bend, will have a 5th Sunday worship service and brunch at 10 a.m. June 29 in the church Fellowship Hall, 2123 Forest Ave. The theme is “Aloha Summer!” The public is invited to join First UMC for a joyful morning of worship, fellowship and food. Hawaiian shirts are welcome.

The morning’s theme celebrates warmth, unity and the Spirit that connects us all. Pastor Robert will share an encouraging message titled, “The Church’s Unity: A Witness to the World.”

The scripture will be Ephesians 4:1-6. Anyone who would like to bring a dish to share is asked to sign up on the sheet located at the back of the church sanctuary.
