Haevyn Freeman

Student Library Assistant, Madison Dombroski will be focusing on different seniors throughout the year to spotlight, and this will be featured in our Check It Out column.

Today’s Senior Spotlight is Haevyn Freeman.

Haevyn Freeman is a senior at EHS. Her family members are Samuel Freeman, Nayomi Freeman, and her dog Chebi. Her favorite book that she would recommend is Tuesdays With Morrie by Mitch Albom, because it really gets into the depth of ALS, a muscle disease. She liked the book because it kind of had something to do with her life and what was happening to her Granny.

Her favorite quote is, “People change, things go wrong, but just remember that life goes on,” by Mac Miller. Her favorite class is 9th hour, when she is the teaching assistant for Mrs. Kaiser. She loves Mrs. Kaiser’s energy and she is very positive. Haevyn also enjoys working and being around kids, so she enjoys being in the kindergarten classroom.

Her advice for incoming students is to pay attention, do your work correctly and on time. It will really help you in the long run.

Haevyn’s plan after graduation is to go to Barton Community College to become an elementary school teacher, either kindergarten or first grade.

We wish Haevyn a great year in her senior chapter!
