The Heartland Center for Spirituality invites the public to embark on a shared journey of transformation. Pilgrimage of the Heart is a dedicated two-year program designed to help us turn away from self-reliance and return to the “Tree of Life,” restoring humanity to the likeness of Christ.
• Year One: The Foundation Focus on God’s work from creation to recreation. Understand the biblical narrative, the impact of the Fall, and how God has worked through history to call our hearts back to Him.
• Year Two: The Practice Engage with the practical tools God has given the Church for transformation, including Lectio Divina, contemplation, meditation, and living by the Christian calendar.
The first session will be on March 21, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Dominican Sisters of Peace Motherhouse, 3600 Broadway Ave. Instructor Jeff Koch recommends attending the first session to experience the journey for yourself and see if this pilgrimage is where you are being called.
