The Ellinwood School/Community Library is proud to welcome Madison Raelynn Dombroski as our Library Teacher Assistant this year. Madison is a junior at Ellinwood High School, where she stays active in cross country, basketball, and track, along with SkillsUSA, KAY, National Honor Society, History Club, and Scholars Bowl.
Madison chose to be a TA because she enjoys helping others, and her favorite part of the library is working on the Senior Spotlight. Outside of school, she enjoys reading, spending time with her six pets (including a bunny named Sophie and five dogs), and cheering on her favorite singer, Anne Wilson. Her favorite movie is “Tangled,” and she never turns down Oreos.
Family is especially important to Madison — she and her two older sisters were adopted at a young age. She dreams of traveling to Paris, hopes to study business and interior design in college, and plans to one day own her own business.
Madison describes herself as kind and offers this advice: “Always compliment one or more people during the day, because you never know when someone is not having a good day.”
Sheri Holmes is the director of library and media services for the Ellinwood School and Community Libraries. She can be reached by email at sholmes@usd355.org.
