Local 4H members compete at State 4H Shooting Sports Match

TOPEKA – On the first Saturday of October, two Barton County 4-H members traveled to Capital City Gun Club, outside of Topeka, to compete in the State 4-H Shooting Sports Matches. They participated in the small-bore rifle and small-bore pistol competitions.

Gus Corbett competed in both the rifle and pistol competitions. He placed 17th in the state in the rifle match and 18th in the state in the pistol match.

Will Clark competed in the pistol competition. He placed sixth in the state.
