Student Library Assistant Madison Dombroski will be focusing on different seniors throughout the year to spotlight, and this will be featured in our Check It Out column. Today’s Senior Spotlight is Shelby Steffan.

Shelby Steffan is a senior at EHS. Her family members are Lori Steffan, Chad Steffan, Leah, Bryce, and her dog Max. Her favorite book that she would recommend is “It Ends With Us,” “because I loved the movie.” Her favorite quote is, “Just ride the wave.” Her favorite class is culinary arts, because she loves to cook and bake. Also a lot of her friends are in that class, which makes it a fun environment.

Shelby is involved in tennis, cheer, three musicals, three years of Mystics, FBLA, Skills USA, StucCo, and culinary arts. Her plan after graduation is to go to college at either KU or FHSU, where she will get her bachelor’s degree in the science of nursing and then proceed to become a pediatric nurse. We wish Shelby a great year in her senior chapter!
