Cason Merrit

Student Library Assistant Emma Clemons will be focusing on different seniors throughout the year to spotlight, and this will be featured in our Check It Out column. Today’s Senior Spotlight is Cason Merrit.

Cason is a senior at EHS. His family members are his mom Carrie, his dad Craig, and his brother Coit. His favorite book is “American Sniper” because he likes it. His favorite quote is, “Worry about your character, not your reputation. Your character is who you are. Your reputation is who people think you are.”

Cason’s favorite class is Mrs. Fischer’s Culinary class because they got to make food. What makes EHS special to Cason is that it is small enough to know everyone, but big enough to still have lots of students and sporting events and activities.

Cason’s advice for incoming students is to go and try out a sport if you’ve never played sports, because you only get four years to do it, so might as well try it while you can. We wish Cason a great year in his senior chapter!
