Student Library Assistant Madison Dombroski focuses on Ellinwood High School seniors throughout the year to spotlight, and this will be featured in our Check It Out column. Today’s Senior Spotlight is Christopher Rugan.

Christopher Rugan is a senior at EHS. His family members are Gene Rugan, Karen Rugan, Haley, Lauren, and his dogs Cooper and Stella. Chris’s favorite book that he would recommend is the “Green Tractors” coloring book, because there are no words in it to read. His favorite quote is, “Sigma,” by Shae Hoskins.

Chris’s favorite class is Ag Power, because he gets to work with his friends and learn more about engines and how they work. His advice for incoming students is to not try too hard, but to just try hard enough. Chris’s plan after graduation is to get a certificate for some sort of diesel mechanic’s degree. And come back to the family farm to work. We wish Chris a great year in his senior chapter!
