Salina Senior Theatre to close season

The Salina Senior Theatre Project will close its fifth season with “An Evening Of One Acts” featuring four performances titled “Blue Sky With Approaching Storm,” “Bank Robbery?” “You Know Your Old When” and “Just The Facts Ma’am.” The shows will be presented at 7 p.m. on Friday, Oct. 24 and Saturday, Oct. 25 at the Salvation Army Chapel located at 1137 N Santa Fe in Salina.

The cast include local talents such as Danton McDiffett, Stephanie Silcott-McDiffett, Temprance Schreiner, Jan Oberle, Greg Adkins, Bethanny Carter, Amanda Lynn, Bob Hunter, Bob Sears, Wally Hitchcock, Terri Levin, Carol Bragg and Don Ratzlaff

Tickets are $10 and are available at the Salvation Army front desk 785-823-2251 or at the door the night of each performance. Refreshments will be provided and there will be a drawing for door prizes. Half of the proceeds received will go toward the Salvation Army Repair Roof Fund.

SSTP founder/director Bob Sears attended Barton County Community College, majoring in Theatre. He appeared in several productions at Barton under the direction of Bob Loss, including “Rumors,” “Butterflies Are Free,” “I Hate Hamlet,” and “They Dance Real Slow In Jackson.” He also was stage manger for Great Bend Community Theatre production of “Nunsense.”
