STERLING — Several Sterling College singers along with music faculty Sean Foster and Marisa Callan will be joining forces with Wichita-based church and high school choirs to present “Sing for the Cure” Concert at 7 p.m. on Saturday at Wichita’s Plymouth Congregational Church. The concert will feature a choir of 70+ voices along with 10 instrumentalists.

“Sing for the Cure” is a choral collection based on true stories of breast cancer survivors and features the work of 10 different composers. 2025 marks the 25th Anniversary of the premiere of the work by the Dallas-based Turtle Creek Chorale under the direction of Dr. Tim Seelig, who will be the guest conductor for the Wichita performance.

KWCH TV news anchors Annette Lawless and Max Dutton will narrate the concert performance. Although there is no charge for the concert, donations will be collected to benefit the Wichita Cancer Foundation which pays health insurance premiums for cancer patients. Wichita’s Plymouth Congregational Church is at 202 N. Clifton Ave. There will be a reception following the concert.
