Betsy Snell and Bryan Ezell, both of Overland Park, were married at 2:30 p.m. April 27, 2024, at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church, Ellinwood. Father Terrence Klein officiated the double ring ceremony. Music was provided by pianist Jonell Niles, violinist Clara Kachanes and vocalist Marlene Clayton.
The bride is the daughter of Thomas and Jolene Snell, Ellinwood. She is a graduate of Ellinwood High School. She earned bachelor’s and master’s degrees from the University of Kansas and is a Pediatric Speech Language Pathologist at a medical rehabilitation center. The groom is the son of Don and Karla Ezell, Shawnee. He is a graduate of Rockhurst High School. He earned a bachelor’s degree from Kansas State University and works as a Corporate Accountant.
Sister of the bride, Jenna Anderson of Hoisington, was Matron of Honor. Friend of the bride, Heather Schneider of San Antonio, Texas, was Maid of Honor. Sister of the bride, Alyson Key of Mooreville, Miss., was Bridesmaid. The bride’s attendant was Allie Hipp of Claflin.
Jack Ezell, brother of the groom, of Overland Park, served as Best Man. Friends of the groom, Steven Lawson of Kansas City, Mo., and Jackson Wicker of Shawnee, served as Groomsmen. Ushers were Alexander Key of Mooreville, Miss., and Dalyn Anderson of Hoisington, both brothers-in-law of the bride.
Averly Key and Lillian Anderson, nieces of the bride, were flower girls. Austin Key, nephew of the bride, was ring bearer.
The couple resides in Shawnee.
