“Truly I tell you, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers and sisters of mine, you did for me.” – Matthew 25:40
On Sunday, Dec. 21, St. Mark Lutheran Church members celebrated their 14th White Christmas Sunday. Each year, throughout Advent, congregational members collect items needed by a local organization, wrap them in white paper and present them on the fourth Sunday of Advent.
The church’s 2025 recipient was the Barton Community College Cougar Supply Den. During worship, the gifts were blessed and presented to Patrick Busch, representing the Supply Den. The Den relies entirely on generous donations from the campus and local community to keep its shelves stocked and its mission strong.
St. Mark is located at 2101 Jackson St. in Great Bend and is a congregation of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America (ELCA).
