Central Kansas Threadbenders Quilt Guild and its signature charitable project, The TLC Quilt Program, distributes handmade quilts to families who have experienced a disaster (e.g. fire, tornado, flood) as well as to children with cancer. This program is funded through the tickets sold for their annual Opportunity Quilt giveaway and members’ time and fabric donations. The quilt guild also accepts cotton only fabric donations from the public to use toward making the TLC quilts.

The club has donated numerous quilts to Barton County residents (both disaster victims and children) over the years and recently sent quilts to victims of the Nebraska flooding.
