Great Bend Alive, a branch of Great Bend Economic Development, is already making plans for after the holidays, including a Snowball Drop the morning of Jan. 13, 2024, inside the Crest Theater, 1905 Lakin Ave. Other downtown businesses are encouraged to participate as well.

There will be a pop-up market at the Crest from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., featuring vendors from outside of downtown.

Jack Frost will drop dozens of snowballs – each numbered 1-300. At 11 a.m., each participating shopper can exchange up to three snowballs for exciting discounts, gift cards and prizes.

After the Snowball Drop, enjoy trolley rides, making stops for hot cocoa, and continue to snack and stroll while exploring the unique offerings of downtown.

Downtown businesses can participate by being open during these hours, treating shoppers to a snack and offering exclusive discounts, gift cards and/or prizes for the Snowball Drop.
