The Kansas Highway Patrol has released the name of a man who died in a motorcycle crash on Thursday, April 30, in Russell County. Richard J. Rockwell, 72, from Warren, Ohio, was driving west on Interstate 70 at 10:46 a.m. He had stopped a 2002 Kawasaki motorcycle along the shoulder and entered the roadway in front of a Hyundai Sonata driven by Zane Daniel Foster, 33, of Topeka. Neither Foster nor his three passengers appeared to be injured.
