Great Bend Police

Dec. 29

A domestic incident was reported at 12:05 a.m. at 3114 Lakin Ave.

A fraud was reported at 12:56 p.m. at Walmart, 3503 10th St.

A warrant arrest was executed at 5:37 p.m. at Waters Hardware, 1649 K-96.

A K-9 callout was utilized at a narcotics violation reported at 11:44 p.m. in the 300 block of 10th Street.


Dec. 30

Criminal damage to property was reported at 12:40 a.m. at Taco Bell, 3607 10th.

A warrant arrest was executed at 1:03 a.m. in the 300 block of 10th.

A gunshot wound was reported at 7:28 a.m. at 1507 Van Fleet Ln. The Great Bend Tribune contacted the police department and was told GBPD is investigating it as a non-intentional discharge; no further information will be released.

The theft of a wallet was reported at 12:45 p.m. at Walmart.

Theft of a ring was reported at 2:10 p.m. at 800 Odell St.

A K-9 callout was utilized at an outside agency assist reported at 8:49 p.m. at 800 Hickory.


Barton County Sheriff

Dec. 29

Warrant arrests were executed at 12:44 p.m. and 1:49 p.m. at the Barton County Detention Center, 1408 Kansas Ave., Great Bend.

A K-9 callout was utilized at a traffic stop reported at 8:57 p.m. at Broadway Ave. and Sherman St., Great Bend.

A K-9 callout was utilized at a narcotics violation reported in the 300 block of 10th Street, Great Bend.


Dec. 30

A K-9 callout was utilized at a traffic stop reported at 4:59 p.m. at Railroad and Main Sts., Hoisington.

A non-injury crash was reported at 6:35 p.m. at W. K-4 and NW 50 Ave., Hoisington.

A narcotics violation was reported at 10:14 p.m.
