Multiple agencies responded Wednesday afternoon to rescue a man who fell into the Ellinwood water tower.

Emergency Medical Services made six ambulance runs on Wednesday and the department provided mutual aid to Ellinwood.

There was one false alarm on Thursday and seven EMS calls.

A fraudulent check was reported Wednesday at Pain, Spine & Rehab ASC PA, 925 Patton Road.

A theft was reported at 1:31 p.m. at Marmie Ford, 1815 10th St.

An officer assisted the Barton County Sheriff’s Office with a traffic stop at 2:28 a.m. Thursday in the 4600 block of Railroad Ave. K-9 NEO was used for a free-air sniff.

Drug paraphernalia was located at St. Francis Community, 1508 Main, and a case taken at 11:46 a.m. Thursday.

A non-injury accident was reported at 2:24 p.m. Wednesday at North U.S. 281 and NE 50 Road, Great Bend.

K-9 call-outs occurred at 4:47 p.m. at 10th and Washington, 5:57 p.m. at 3rd and Elm St., 8:12 p.m. in the 1300 block of Van Fleet Lane, and the 10 block of NE 30 Road, all in Great Bend.

A possible narcotics violation was reported at 10:28 p.m. at 24th and Washington, Great Bend.

Officers assisted another agency with a child in need of care case in Great Bend at 7:50 p.m. Thursday.
