Emergency Medical Services made six ambulance runs on Wednesday and the department provided mutual aid to Ellinwood.

An officer assisted the Barton County Sheriff’s Office with a traffic stop at 2:28 a.m. Thursday in the 4600 block of Railroad Ave. K-9 NEO was used for a free-air sniff.
Drug paraphernalia was located at St. Francis Community, 1508 Main, and a case taken at 11:46 a.m. Thursday.

A non-injury accident was reported at 2:24 p.m. Wednesday at North U.S. 281 and NE 50 Road, Great Bend.
K-9 call-outs occurred at 4:47 p.m. at 10th and Washington, 5:57 p.m. at 3rd and Elm St., 8:12 p.m. in the 1300 block of Van Fleet Lane, and the 10 block of NE 30 Road, all in Great Bend.
A possible narcotics violation was reported at 10:28 p.m. at 24th and Washington, Great Bend.
Officers assisted another agency with a child in need of care case in Great Bend at 7:50 p.m. Thursday.
