Firefighters responded to an unauthorized burn at 10:06 a.m. Friday in the 900 block of Jefferson St. There was one false alarm on Sunday.
Emergency Medical Service had one call on Friday, five on Saturday and four on Sunday.
Great Bend Police Department
Police were dispatched to 1205 Roxanne Dr. at 1:35 a.m. Friday. Lauren Vancura was arrested for domestic battery and criminal damage to property.
A cellphone and ID were found Friday evening at Veterans Park and were later returned to the owner.
At 6:31 p.m. police received a report of an unknown male with a knife causing problems in the area of 3rd and Hubbard St. He left the area before officers arrived.
At 7:39 p.m. an officer assisted someone with a flat tire at Park Elementary School.
Barton County Sheriff’s Office reported a chase at 9:54 p.m. at 3rd and Kiowa Road. GBPD assisted.
Shoplifting was reported Saturday morning at Walmart.
A domestic incident was reported at 2:31 p.m. Sunday at 6036 Rosewood Dr. Jessica Rodriguez was arrested for criminal threat and domestic violence battery. Rodriguez was released after posting bond.
At 3:56 p.m., police received a report that Blaine Reeder was leaving the area of the 2800 block of 24th St., possibly in a stolen vehicle. The vehicle was located and although it was not stolen, Reeder was arrested for an outstanding municipal warrant. Reeder was released after posting bond.
Barton County Sheriff
A non-injury accident was reported at 5:24 p.m. Friday at SE 100 Ave. and SE 30 Road, Ellinwood.
A chase was reported at 9:54 p.m. in Great Bend.
BCSO assisted another agency at 8:23 a.m. Saturday on North U.S. 281 at mile marker 112.
BCSO made a traffic stop at 8:30 a.m. on North U.S. 281 at mile marker 108.
There was a report of a possible narcotics violation at 4:36 p.m. at a 10th St. business.
BCSO made a warrant arrest at 11:53 p.m. at SW 50 Ave. and SW 70 Road, Stafford. A K-9 unit was called out at 12:14 a.m. Sunday.
A possible narcotics violation was reported at 8:09 p.m. Sunday in the 2800 block of 24th St.
