Great Bend Fire/EMS

GBFD responded to a report of a grass fire in the 200 block of SE 20 Road at 2:46 a.m. Thursday. When they arrived, approximately 20 acres of grass were burning, and crews were on scene approximately one hour extinguishing the fire and performing cleanup. No structures were threatened or damaged in the fire.

Theft of a walker was reported at 3910 Cedar Park Pl. at 1:01 p.m. Thursday.

A non-injury crash was reported at 4:27 p.m. Thursday at Baker Avenue and Lakin Avenue.

A subject shoplifting and then battering employees was reported at Walmart at 6:01 p.m. Thursday.

Great Bend Police assisted on a report of an aggravated battery occurring at 7:41 p.m. Thursday.

A possible fire was reported at 2:46 a.m. Thursday in the 200 block of SE 20 Road.

A battery was reported at 7:29 a.m. Thursday at the Barton County Detention Center.

A theft was reported at 9:53 a.m. Thursday at 133 SE 40 Rd., Great Bend.

A non-injury crash was reported at 3:37 p.m. Thursday at NE 30 Road and U.S. 281.

A non-injury crash was reported at 5:50 p.m. Thursday at K-4 mile marker 139.
