Great Bend Fire and EMS

Great Bend Emergency Medical Service made seven ambulance runs on Wednesday. Firefighters responded to a vehicle fire, the fire was extinguished upon arrival.

K-9 Niko was utilized in a traffic stop at 3:33 p.m. in the 2000 block of Kansas Ave.

K-9 Niko was utilized in a traffic stop at 4:50 p.m. in the 1500 block of Williams St.

A narcotics violation was reported 6:12 p.m. at 1212 Baker Ave.

A traffic arrest was reported at 8 p.m. at 10th St. and Pine St.

A non-injury crash was reported at 3:34 p.m. Thursday at Domino’s, 3703 10th St.

Fraud was reported at 7 p.m. in the 5200 block of Ridgeway Dr.


Barton County Sheriff

A non-injury crash was reported at 3:16 a.m. Wednesday at NE 130 Ave. and NE 200 Rd., Claflin.

Fraud was reported at 11:25 a.m. at Great Bend Feeding West, 355 NW 30 Ave. 

A domestic disturbance was reported at 1:07 p.m. at 12th St. and Monroe St.

A fire was reported at 2:06 p.m. in the 150 block of SW 40 Ave.

A non-injury crash was reported at 9:15 p.m. on W K-4 at mile marker 117, Hoisington.

The K-9 unit was utilized at 10:40 p.m. in the 2400 block of Williams St.

The K-9 unit was utilized at 11:22 p.m. in the at 12th St. and Williams St.

The K-9 unit was utilized at 12:56 a.m. Thursday at 19th St. and 281 Bypass.

A domestic disturbance was reported at 10:33 a.m. in the 600 block of E 6th St., Hoisington.

Fraud was reported at 11:01 a.m. at the Barton County Sheriff’s Office, 1416 Kansas Ave.

Fraud was reported at 1:48 p.m. at the Barton County Sheriff’s Office, 1416 Kansas Ave.

Notification of an oversized load expected at 8 a.m. on Friday morning was reported at 2:36 p.m. to the BCSO.

Fraud was reported at 3:01 p.m. at 4004 Centre St., Albert.

The K-9 unit was utilized at 10:58 p.m. at NE 50 Ave. and E K-4, Hoisington.

A narcotics violation was reported at 11:13 p.m. at Casey’s General Store, 250 S Main St., Hoisington. The K-9 unit was utilized.
