Great Bend Fire/EMS

There was a false alarm, possibly from a smoke detector activating, at 8:24 p.m. Thursday in the 2900 block of 28th St. Emergency Medical Service made five ambulance runs.


Great Bend Police

A non-injury crash was reported at 8 a.m. Thursday at 24th and Morton.

A non-injury hit-and-run crash was reported at 8:58 a.m. at Dillons No. 51, 4107 10th St.

A known person with two felony warrants ran from an officer at 4:55 p.m. in the 1400 block of 16th St.

Theft of a bike was reported from 2201 Polk St.

Criminal threats were reported at McDonald’s, 3307 10th St.


Barton County Sheriff

A non-injury crash was reported at 8:32 a.m. Thursday at NW 100 Ave. and NW 10 Road.

A search warrant was executed at 4:26 p.m. at 1908 Adams St., Great Bend. An alleged narcotics violation was later reported at that address.

A non-injury crash was reported at 2:37 a.m. Friday at NW 100 Ave. and West Barton Road, Great Bend.
