Two men from St. John were injured Monday when a Peterbilt overturned in Stafford County. The Kansas Highway Patrol reports the accident occurred at 10:10 a.m. in the 500 block of NW 30th St., or 0.4 miles west of NW 50th Ave. on NW 30th St.
Gerald Louis Hudson, 63, was driving west when the truck left to roadway to the right. He took corrective action and the truck left the roadway to the left, overturned and came to rest in the south ditch. Hudson and passenger Marvin Rex Miller, 66, appeared to have serious injuries. They were not wearing safety restraints. Hudson was transported to the University of Kansas Health System - Great Bend campus, and Miller was taken to Wesley Medical Center in Wichita.
