LARNED — The Pawnee County Sheriff’s Office reported seizing a large quantity of methamphetamine and homemade explosives after the execution of a search warrant in Larned where a suspect holed up in a barricaded room for about an hour.

According to the report posted on the PCSO Facebook page, on Sunday, Nov. 5, Sheriff’s deputies were assisted by the Kansas Highway Patrol and Larned Police Department in executing several search warrants within the city of Larned.
