A teenage male from Lincoln died Thursday in a two-vehicle crash in Mitchell County. The Kansas Highway Patrol reports Austin Cearyn Jablonski, 17, lost control of the eastbound 2003 Chrysler Town & Country he was driving and crossed the center line into the westbound lane at 11:49 a.m. on Sept. 25 on K-14, just south of V Road.

After Jablonski lost control of the vehicle for unknown reasons, it was struck by a westbound Kenworth truck pulling a trailer that was driven by Trey Isaac Mosier, 29, of Ellinwood. Mosier had no apparent injuries. Jablonski was pronounced dead at the scene.

The Chrysler entered the north ditch and both vehicles caught on fire.
