ALBERT — We celebrate the life of Alberta Kraus, from Albert, Kan., who died at the age of 105, on Aug. 5, 2020, at The Villages of Jackson Creek, Independence, Mo. 

Alberta’s families honor her gracious nature, her devotion to family, and her church. She loved music, reading, and playing cards, and had a passion for decorating, cooking, and kindness and service to others. We are so proud to have had such a fine parent. 

She is survived by her four children, Thayne Kraus (wife Leona), Lorna Shaw (husband Don), Marilyn Ginther (husband Glenn), and Karen Organ (husband Wayne); grandchildren; great grandchildren; great great grandchildren; and one brother, Frank Offutt. She was preceded in death by her parents, Agnes and I.S. Offutt; six of her seven siblings; her husband of 48 years, Harvey M. Kraus; and her second husband of 18 years, Elmer Mausolf. 

There will be no visitation as cremation has taken place. Graveside services will be announced at a later date and inurnment will be in the Great Bend Cemetery. Condolences may be sent and notice viewed at www.bryantfh.net.
