Alma F. (Zimmerman) Suppes, 88, joined her husband in heaven January 14, 2021. She was born on September 28, 1932, at Schoenchen to Sylvester & Mary (Unrein) Zimmerman. She married Eugene J. Suppes on May 2, 1950, at Schoenchen. He died September 23, 2020.

Alma was a member of Prince of Peace Parish at St. Patrick Catholic Church and the Altar Society. She loved bingo, embroidery, cross stitching and her dogs. She was a wonderful cook. She enjoyed spending time with her family but especially loved spending time with her grandchildren.

Survivors include, her children, Shirley Philippi and husband Steve of Gilbert, Ariz., Ginger Herrman and husband Mark of Great Bend, Margie Bowsher and husband Mark of Richmond, Tex., Richard Suppes and wife Rhonda of Hutchinson, J.R. Suppes and wife Brenda of Great Bend, Bernie Suppes and wife Laura of St. John, Dale Suppes of Great Bend, Tammy Priest and husband Tim of Green Valley, Ariz., and Stacy Suppes and husband Jerry Dale of Derby; 22 grandchildren; 33 great grandchildren; one great great grandchild; her brothers, Duane Zimmerman and wife Dar of Battlefield, Mo., LaVern Zimmerman and wife Dianna of Great Bend, David Zimmerman and wife Donna of Olathe, Mike Zimmerman and wife Julie of McPherson, and Leon Zimmerman and wife Marilyn of Tex.; and her sisters, Norma Jacobs of Colorado Springs, Colo., Delores Dietz of Hays, and Janet Steinert and husband Bill of Tex. She was preceded in death by her parents; a daughter, Lynda Garrett; and two great grandchildren, Bailiegh Kay Suppes and Bentley Lintz; a brother, Percy Zimmerman; and two sisters, Katharine Kruetzer and Patricia Zimmerman.

Visitation will be held from 1:00 to 9:00 p.m., Sunday, January 17, 2021, at Bryant Funeral Home, with Altar Society rosary at 4:00 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00 a.m., Monday, January 18, 2021, at St. Patrick Catholic Church, Great Bend, with Father Terrence Klein presiding. Interment will be in the Great Bend Cemetery North. Memorials are suggested to the Golden Belt Humane Society, in care of Bryant Funeral Home.
